The Black EOE Journal Announces it’s Best of the Best 2012 Top Supplier Diversity ExecutivesTop Supplier Diversity Executives

(Irvine, California) –  2012 – The Black EOE Journal released the results of its much-anticipated 2012 survey of the nation's Top Supplier Diversity Executives. Now celebrating over 20 years of diversity, the Black EOE Journal announced its 2012 Best of the Best after polling hundreds of Supplier Diversity Executives from Fortune 1000 Companies. The annual review is an evaluation of the nation's employers, supplier diversity programs, initiatives, government agencies and educational institutions. These non-biased studies are a valuable resource for job seekers, business owners, students, consumers, senior management, business associations, employment agencies and consumer groups.

This year, the nation’s Top 4 Supplier Executives include (in no particular order) William Kornegay, Sr. Vice President of Supply Management, Hilton Worldwide; Marc Campbell, Sr. Vice President of Procurement, Jones Lang La Salle; Sherman Gay, Small Business Officer, Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority; and Veronica Manuel-Gilbert, Director of Enterprise Supplier Diversity, Johnson & Johnson.

The goal of the annual evaluations is not only to bring the latest information and guidance to our readers but also to encourage active outreach and diversity policies among corporations and government agencies. The lists were compiled from market research, independent research, confidential employee interviews and responses from conducted agents and/or affiliates of DiversityComm, proud publisher of the Black EOE Journal and its three sister publications. This year, over 250 companies and institutions participated.

“Each year we conduct these surveys to recognize not only companies, but also outstanding individuals within an organization, going beyond the call of duty and assisting in their efforts in creating a diverse workplace. Whether it’s assisting in hiring employees or hiring small business partners, all of these efforts deserve recognition to motivate and inspire them to continue in their great efforts, but also to motivate others. That’s how we achieve success in what do—positive confirmation produces better results”, commented Mona Lisa Faris-Placey, President & Founder.

The members of each company have created a strong team to drive their company to excel. Our annual surveys are proof that companies all over this country are working diligently to strengthen and build our economy.

The results are published in the July 2012 issue Special Conferences edition of the Black EOE Journal on newsstands on July 15, 2012. Published by DiversityComm, the Black EOE Journal is dedicated to promoting the advancement of African-Americans in all aspects of business and employment to ensure equal opportunity.
