The Black College Expo Wrap Up

The Black College Expo holds many events nationwide throughout the year and the Los Angeles Convention Center was the site for the January 8, 2011 conference. It was a wonderful opportunity for students and their families to gain valuable resources, information and connecting with Colleges; including, historically Black Colleges & Universities. The enthusiasm for the Expo was high, as there was a chance for ‘on-the-spot acceptance’ along with Scholarship opportunities. The sponsor of this stimulating event, Southern California Edison, provided attendee’s with workshops that included tips on applying for internships and jobs with major corporations.
